 | Production Music is pre-recorded music specifically composed for use by producers of audio-visual productions, including film, television, web-sites, commercials, corporate productions, video-games. Because it is pre-recorded, potential users have the opportunity to test a wide range of music against picture prior to making any payment. Fees are only due when the audio visual production is exhibited, broadcast or offered for sale.
It is easy to use our production music and the rights are cleared in one step, both master and synchronization.
Our music is provided free of charge to accredited clients through our search and download system PLAY, and you only pay for the amount of seconds used in a production. Fees are set in accordance with the published rate card.
Application for a licence has to be made to EMI Production Music Scandinavia AB in advance of exploitation. These licences are available for different types of use and for all territories (including world).
The music is not copyright free, all our music is protected by copyright law.
This means that if a production is broadcasted in public, the customer has to report the music usage to the performance society. These are: STIM in Sweden, TONO in Norway, KODA in Denmark, TEOSTO in Finland, STEF on Iceland, EAÜ in Estonia, AKKA-LAA in Latvia and LATGA-A in Lithuania.
